Within the principles that govern us, the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity are very important; and the current situation of the natural habitat of most bird species, makes it urgent to work on several fronts for its conservation and that of the different ecosystems that exist in Colombia.
For this reason, the National Aviary of Colombia wants and expects to lead this work at the local and national level, through clear strategies that will frame projects to generate awareness and education.
From there, with the support and participation of different organizations we seek to achieve these objectives and continue working for the conservation of the birds of our country, and of this place, whose fundamental pillars are environmental education, research for preservation and ecotourism.
